Hoian Sketch

Hội An is a beautifully preserved ancient town in Vietnam, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning architecture. The town’s charm lies in its blend of different influences ranging from Chinese, Japanese, French, and Vietnamese styles, reflected in its narrow streets, old wooden houses, and vibrant markets.

The heart of Hội An is the Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area is filled with historic sites such as the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and numerous traditional tea houses and shops selling local handicrafts. Walking through the Ancient Town feels like stepping back in time, with lanterns illuminating the streets in the evening.

Hội An is also famous for its culinary scene. Local dishes, such as Cao Lầu, Mi Quang, and Bánh Mì, offer a delightful taste of the region's flavors. Visitors can join cooking classes to learn how to prepare traditional meals using fresh, local ingredients.
